CEO & co-founder · Speaker · Advisor

I'm the CEO and co-founder of Kaleida, where I build AI and leadership capability for technical teams. My work sits at the intersection of software, human capability, and AI adoption, helping engineering organisations close the gap between high-level strategy and how work actually gets done.

Before Kaleida, I led operations, growth, and teams across fast-moving tech environments including Cloudflare, Linc, and Coder Academy, where I’ve been involved in training more than 250 engineers. That mix of hands-on tech leadership and formal study in management science means I care deeply about both the human systems and the operational mechanics.

I also founded and lead Women Coders, a 1,000+ member community helping women build deep technical capability and thrive in engineering careers. I’m a regular speaker, facilitator, and MC across the tech community, and across all of it I’m focused on closing the gap between what teams are told to do and what actually works on the ground.

I'm Kaleida's CTO and co-founder, and the builder behind our platform. I architected it and lead the lean team building it, taking it from idea to MVP to a full data-architecture pivot on a live product. I work AI-first every day, with AI as a collaborator in how I design, build, and run the company. It's the same shift our programs teach, and I teach it from practice, not theory.

Before Kaleida, I spent two decades building software and over a decade leading engineering teams across start-ups, scale-ups, and corporates, from IoT energy platforms to global SaaS. I've lived the transitions our courses cover: stepping up as a first-time lead, running teams of teams, guiding legacy transformations, and making the constant judgment calls that come with a small company and a big ambition. It's the experience I draw on to build our course materials, grounded in the leadership theories and frameworks that hold up in practice, not just on paper.

I'm also a co-founder and organiser of Tech Leading Ladies, a community of nearly 2,000 people bridging the gender gap in technical leadership, and I speak and run workshops across the ANZ tech circuit (YOW!, DDD, ADAConf, ServerlessDays). Everything I do comes back to one belief: nobody should be written off as "not technical enough."

How we're different

Built for technical people

Not adapted corporate training. Content written specifically for the pressures of technical leadership.

Leadership is social

We believe leadership is a social skill — so we teach it socially, in real cohorts with real peers.
